Daily schedule
A day of approx. 2200 negative elevation. We will combine both artificial bike park elements and authentic freeride areas. 2 short runs will warm us up. The rest of the day we will ride down from 2000 m, all the way to Sinaia downtown.
A full day of enduro. The main access is by cable car, but followed by a 1.5 h climb starting on the Bucegi plateu at 2000 m altitude. We will pass Omu Peak (2505 m), the highest peak of Bucegi Mountains, enjoy the view and prepare for the 12 km of downhill ride. But remember, you will experience everything that this mountain has to offer: steep valleys, single trails, spruce forest, rock gardens, roots (bloody roots), speed lines, and so on. This route will train your balance more than any other. After lunch, there is an optional visit to Bran Castle available (15 EUR), than shuttle transfer back to Sinaia included.
The third day is dedicated to the beautiful Baiului mountains, next side of the valley neighbors to the Bucegi National Park Mountains. We will start out from our accommodation and have a shuttle to Azuga ski resort, taking the cable-car up to the Baiului ridge where we will be greeted by a breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges. 1,5 hour ascent to the Baiul Mare peak than come the epic 1100 m level descent, that passes by a shepard traditional cottage, before ariving back in Sinaia. After lunch, there is an optional visit available to the Sinaia’s Peles Castle, the former residency of the Romanian monarchs (15 EUR).
